IMMEDIATE IMPLANTATION
#1 The patient is a 61 year old who presents to the clinic whit bleeding guns and movement of the teeth. Upon taking history it was reveated that the patient is a smoker, but does not have a prior history of systemic disease. Upon clinical and radiographic examination, it was discovered hprizantal osteaparusis partial vertical osteaparusis of the maxillary, along whith periodon titis secandary to insufficrent oralhygiene anel excessive tartar.
#2 Total extraction of the maxillary and placement of implants was planned fort the purpose of rehabilitation. Prior to the operation, oral hygiere was established via dental cleaning and medication therapy. Implants were placed immediately after extraction. 3 months later, prosthesis placement was perfarmed. The patient followed up for his yeany and 3 year postoperative evaluation complatints noted.
