Dr. Uğur Meriç

Dr. Meric recieved his DDS at the University of Istanbul, Turkey in 1998. From the same university he recieved his PhD (2006) in the field of Oral Surgery. Dr Meric worked as assistant professor and lecturer in the University of Istanbul, Faculty of Dentistry Department of Oral Surgery until 2012. Dr Meric worked in Germany (2009) as a guest research-assistant at the University of Munster, School of Dentistry Department of Oral Surgery and Private Clinic Schellenstein Olsberg (Chairman: Prof. Dr. F. Khoury). He has published several articles, abstracts and currently working on several researches and book chapters. Dr Meric is member of Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Association (TAOMS), Turkish Implantology Association (TOID), International Team of Implantology (ITI). His field of interest involves biological way of bone augmentation (bone augmentation with just autogeneus bone), bone splitting, tunnel technique, bone condensing in upper and lower jaw and soft tissue management in implant surgery (palatal pediculed flap, kazanjian technique, apical reposition flap, palatal roll flap). Dr. Meric has been invited several lectures worldwide and working with several chambers of dentistry nationally for advanced surgery education. He is the coordinator and head of scientific comity in Turkey for the master programe for oral surgery and implantology with Inetrnational Medical College (IMC), Muenster Germany. Dr. Meric is currently working in his private clinic: Meric&Meric where he continues his scientific and educational studies.
